The oneSource Health & Safety Team provides schools, academies and colleges with access to competent health and safety advisory, specialist risk assessment and training services to enable them to fulfil their statutory duties relating to occupational health and safety in schools and colleges.

Under the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations employers are required to have access to competent advice on health & safety. All of the Team’s advisers are members of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH). The Service is managed by Chartered Occupational Safety & Health Practitioners (CMIOSH) to ensure the highest standards of professional practice.


The Health & Safety Team has extensive experience (over 30 years) of working with schools, academies and colleges to enable them to effectively manage their establishments. The Team’s advisers understand the problems that these organisations face and are used to finding solutions suitable for the specific needs of schools & other educational establishments. We appreciate the budgetary and political landscape which impacts their operation and take this into account when suggesting solutions to the issue under consideration. Schools and colleges can have access to competent advice from a number of sources (in-house, consultants or a combination of both).
