Benefits to your Establishment

Under the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations employers are required to have access to competent advice on health & safety. All of the Team’s advisers are members of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH). The Service is managed by Chartered Occupational Safety & Health Practitioners (CMIOSH) to ensure the highest standards of professional practice.

The Health & Safety Team has extensive experience (over 30 years) of working with schools, academies and colleges to enable them to effectively manage their establishments. The Team’s advisers understand the problems that these organisations face and are used to finding solutions suitable for the specific needs of schools & other educational establishments. We appreciate the budgetary and political landscape which impacts their operation and take this into account when suggesting solutions to the issue under consideration. The Team's local authority link means that you can be assured that the advice you receive from our advisers will always be the most appropriate solution to your problem; and will never be motivated to encourage you to purchase additional services or products which you don't actually need.

The oneSource Health and Safety Team has extensive experience in assisting establishments to manage health and safety in schools, academies, multi-academy trusts and colleges. Having worked with education clients for a long time we appreciate that managing health and safety in colleges and schools is not your foremost concern. Therefore our school safety management systems are designed to achieve the highest standards of health and safety compliance with the minimum use of client's resources. The Health and Safety Manual which we provide to clients is an example of how we have reduced their administrative burden. The Manual serves several purposes, it:
